Cancer development traces back to mutations in DNA.
Explanations
Cancer is a group of over 200 different diseases that all share one thing in common: cells divide uncontrollably without any brakes. What's important to know is that our DNA – the instruction manual inside each cell – plays a central role in this process. Even though there have been huge breakthroughs in new treatments like immunotherapy in recent years, it's still difficult to completely cure many types of cancer.
